Eliminate the Guesswork with the
Maximum in Control and Reliability

Weighing problems may be caused by environmental influences such as vibration, excess dust, air currents, and non-solid foundations. If any of these factors are present they must be corrected to assure proper performance of the checkweigher.

Package handling limitations to insure proper operation of the checkweigher.

1.) Package spacing must be as follows:
Leading edge to leading edge spacing must be greater than or equal to the length of the scale conveyor (S1). If this spacing is less than specified, a spacing conveyor MUST be supplied by others. This spacing conveyor may be supplied by Cardinal weighing at an additional cost.
2.) Package length must be short enough to allow a minimum of .5 seconds of weigh time between the photoeyes for an accurate weight.
3.) The approach conveyor and the exit conveyor must be moving at the same speed as the scale conveyor and be at the same elevation to insure proper transfer of the products. The standard Cardinal conveyor height is 30" +/- 2" (76 cm +/- 5 cm).
